Christian Service Brigade

The Christian Service Brigade focus is on training and developing the leadership potential of the boys and young men in the program.  The phrase “because boys will be boys men” really says it best.  The program is designed to aid in the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual development of the boys through interaction with Christian men who understand the importance of male Christian role models, especially given the confusing and complicated secular environment in which we live.


Tree Climbers (1st and 2nd Grade)

In Tree Climbers, the focus is to strengthen the relationship between boys (ages 6 and 7) and their dads by encouraging each dad to take an active role in his son’s life.  A strong father / son relationship provides a solid foundation for future Christian growth in the lives of these young boys.  The group meets on Thursday evenings from 7:00 PM till 8:45 PM.  Each meeting consists of craft time, game time and review of a Biblical principle.


Stockade (3rd through 6th Grade)

In Stockade (ages 8 –11), we encourage the adult leaders to become mentors, teachers and role models to the boys in the program.   The group meets on Thursday evenings from 7:00 PM till 8:45 PM.  Each grade level represents a Stockade post and each post rotates time in the use of our fully functioning wood shop, working in the Chapel kitchen and game time.  The posts all come together to listen to a Biblical story or principle with time to ask questions.  The Stockade program also offers a number of day and weekend trips throughout the year.


Battalion (12 to 18 year olds)

In Battalion (young men ages 12—18), attend this program for a time of fun, fellowship and training on what it means to be a Christian leader.  We provide opportunities for the young men to develop the spiritual understanding and self confidence needed to be strong Christian leaders.  Our focus is not only to give Bible-based solutions for life’s challenges, but to demonstrate them in action as well.  The meetings are held on Tuesday evenings 7:00 PM till 9:00 PM.
