Homeless Shelter
One week per quarter, Jacksonville Chapel is honored to partner with Interfaith Council for Homeless Families of Morristown by providing a shelter for up to 14 women, children and men who have fallen on hard times and are in-between homes.
Through this partnership, we team with fourteen other local churches from various denominations in the county to take care of our guests' needs throughout the week.
While the families stay with us, representatives of the partner churches sleep over with the guests and take turns cooking, cleaning, and fellowshipping with them.
The guests arrive at our Crossroads Campus gymnasium one Sunday a quarter and leave the following Sunday when they move on to one of the other churches involved in this partnership.
Through this ministry, Jesus has opened the door for sharing His love and message of hope with many. We're so thankful for this opportunity!
