In the Chapel
God has uniquely made you. We not only have different skin, hair, and eye colors, but we are also wired differently. Some of us love checklists and palm pilots, while others enjoy engaging in conversation and brainstorming to accomplish tasks. For some, the word structure makes you cringe. Your motto is “Go with the flow” or “Wing It.” Others would go crazy without a plan. God has also uniquely blessed you. As a child of God, He has blessed you with His grace. He has blessed you with His presence and He has blessed you with opportunities to serve. You see serving isn’t my gift to God but God’s gift to me to help me love Him, love others, and become more like Him. So whether you enjoy being up front or behind the scenes, Jacksonville Chapel has a place where you can serve.
Where do I start?
Begin by asking yourself, "What am I passionate about?" What issue or people group really catches your interest? What problem or issue would you like to solve?
Next, consider how God has uniquely wired you. Consider your personality, skills, abilities, and life experiences. How could these help you make a meaningful contribution in the lives of others?
