Middle school and high school are certainly not the easiest times in life. It is easy to get lost in your school or be let down by the crowd around you. You may not be accepted, or have the freedom to be different in who you want to be. The struggles of populartiy, drugs, alcohol, confusion about the opposite sex, and just plain ol' life are all things that make this a really tough journey.
Nxt-Gen ministries believes that you should be accepted exactly the way you are. In your high socks, saggy pants, long purple hair, and weird humor. We believe that this should be an exciting journey filled with purpose, friendships, and fun. The Bible says "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity" 1 Timothy 4:12.
You are what happens next in this crazy world. Because of that we want to party, find deep truth, make sense of this outragious life and change the world. Are you in? Join us!
Edge X 10:15am Sunday Mornings
Edge X is flat out craziness. Bring your friends and hang at a spot where we laugh, play games, grow in Christ, jam out with a band and discover truth.
Edge PM 6:30pm Sunday Nights
Dodgeball and small groups is always a recipe to have a great time, build relationships and make faith in Jesus Christ your own. On Sunday nights you will learn how to be a leader and live a life of purpose. You will also make long lasting relationships that will help you through the middle school and high school journey.
OSC 6:30pm Sunday Nights
OSC is high school students hanging out with other students
from over 35 high schools. The creative programs within OSC
provide students the opportunity to grow in Christ, laugh at comedy, rock with
a band, learn leadership skills, and help one another
navigate their way through life.
NXT-Gen Ministries Needs Volunteers
We are always in need of fun, outgoing, caring, and creative people that Love God and Like Teens. This has been especially true in the last month as we have seen EDGE X attendance rise to almost 100 students. As we move ahead this year, volunteers will become more and more necessary to keep this awesome growth going.
I ask you to pray and see if God may be leading you to this very rewarding ministry. Download the Volunteer Application, fill it out and return it to the Nxt-Gen Office in the Stone Cottage. We'll review your application and someone will get back to you shortly to setup a face-to-face meeting.
