There is no question that we, as women in Northern Jersey, are continually being measured against certain standards of performance, social standing and beauty. Many women carry a burden of believing they fall short of the accepted standard. Others are consumed with living up to society’s values. Both attitudes create a “yoke of slavery”. Have you ever felt it?

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm then and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” (Gal 5:2)

God has provided a way to be connected relationally to him through the sacrifice of his son, Jesus.  It is in that relationship that God unfolds his will for each one of us for now and for eternity. He uncovers it, bit by bit, as we study scripture, as his Spirit teaches us and as we rub elbows with others who are related to him. God values relationship! There is no true freedom until we step into what God has designed for us, a loving bond with him. That love then grows within the context of living with others.

Women’s LIFE is a living laboratory where we point each other to loving God and then begin the process of living out love relationships with family, friends and neighbors… according to God’s instruction and with his power, which God is all too happy to give to those who seek and love him. 

The relief of being accepted and loved by the One who designed you and receiving the mission that God calls you to and empowers you to perform can  bring to you an unbridled freedom unlike anything else you have ever experienced! Aren’t you ready?
