Children's Ministries: Stockade

Purpose

Do you want your son to be "Bright and keen for Christ"? We sure do! In fact, as a part of the Christian Service Brigade -- a national organization serving over 5000 churches -- we've been helping to do just that.

How Do We Do It?

Our goal is nothing less than to introduce boys (Grades 3 to 6) to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. We have meetings, games, and crafts. We go camping. The boys learn many of the skills necessary to help them as they grow older, and they even have a log book -- like the Boy Scouts -- to keep track of their achievements.

Fun and Fruitful

Parents are sometimes frustrated by the recreational opportunities available for their sons. It seems they're either fun but not helpful, or educational but boring. Now just imagine a young boy who has the chance to meet with godly leaders, men who can help shape him into a young man who can bless those whose lives he touches. And he actually keeps coming back for more. Isn't that what parents want?

Fond Memories

It's exciting to look back over the years and see how so many boys have grown in their faith and fellowship. You probably don't have to look too hard to find a man whose eyes will glow when you mention Stockade.
