Worship Ministries: Kids' Praise

Purpose

We strive to give children an opportunity to sing praises to God, with the added fun of choreography and drama, for the purpose of reaching out to the community.

What's it all about?

Kids' Praise is a group of children in 2nd through 5th grade who perform a biblically-based musical. Rehearsals start in January and are held on Saturday mornings from 10:00am to noon and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:30pm in the Chapel's Auditorium. All this hard work and anticipation is finally shown in two performances near the end of March.

Preparing and Performing

In the musical productions, the children have the opportunity to express themselves in song and dance, which builds their confidence as they learn to get beyond mistakes and the pressure of performing, and to have a good time along the way. More importantly, they learn biblical principles as well as verses set to songs.

Getting involved

If you are a Chapel attendee, we encourage your child to consider participating in this exciting ministry. Also, we are always looking for anyone who can help with props, costumes, and staging.
