Worship Ministries: Special Events
Reaching the people of Northern New Jersey with the gospel is one of the goals of Jacksonville Chapel and one of the ways we do that is through our special musical productions. Usually centered around seasonal themes, these productions present the gospel through the Chapel Choir, live orchestra, costuming, drama, pageantry, and multi-media. Here is a brief overview of some special events.
Christmas
|
A New Jersey tradition for over 15 years, the Jacksonville Chapel Christmas production is a wonderful time of celebrating the ""reason for the season," Jesus! Featuring the voices of the Chapel choir and the Chapel Band and seen by over 5,000 each year, the Christmas Musical is a great vehicle through which we can share God's love with our community. |
Easter
|
The reason we can have hope is through the empty tomb of Jesus. This is why we celebrate Easter with an outreach musical production. Telling the story of Jesus', life, death and resurrection through music, drama, and multi-media, the Chapel Worship Ministry desires to see people confronted with the reality of God's greatest sacrifice; His own Son.

Fourth of July
|
Something new at the Chapel in 2000, "An American Celebration." With the sounds of the Chapel Band and Choir, we will celebrate the freedom we enjoy as Americans and as Christians. In order to enjoy true liberty you must do more than live beneath the ""Stars and Stripes."" One must be reborn by "scars and stripes" of Jesus. Having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the only way to real freedom. Join us as we wave our flags and lift our hearts in honor of our nation and our God.
