Overcomers in Christ
"Overcomers In Christ” is a Christian based, 12-step program, designed to help those with all manner of life controlling habits and addiction issues.
We stand on the basic principles of faith in Jesus Christ’s death for forgiveness of our sins, and in His resurrection from death for power to live rightly into the future.
We take Biblical instruction for living under self control, with sobriety in both body and mind.
We’re learning through the study of Scripture how much God loves and cares for us, as we learn to love and care for others.
Together, one day at a time, more and more of us are learning to enjoy life the way it was meant to be lived; sharing the joy of newfound peace and freedom from our compulsions.
While it is an open meeting and all are welcome to attend; the rules of privacy and confidentiailty are in place. (Meaning that what is heard in the meeting, must stay in the meeting).
We meet at Jacksonville Chapel every Tuesday at 7PM in the Ministry Center South building.
