Nxt-Gen Ministries

Middle School and High School are certainly not the easiest times in life. It is normal to struggle with many issues including questions about our own identity, the nature of the world around us, the existence of God. The teenage years are often difficult in areas of family relationships, friendships, struggles with popularity, drugs, alcohol, confusion about the opposite sex, and life.
Nxt-Gen ministries believes in non-conditional acceptance and love. We seek to follow Jesus by caring for others in meaningful and personal ways. We desire to find the truth and apply it to our lives. The Bible says "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity" 1 Timothy 4:12. We believe teens can find, peace, meaning and wholeness in this crazy and often confusing world.
Nxt-Gen programs to help us achieve the our goals of Loving God, Loving People, and Serving Others:
Middle School and High School Worship 10:15am Sunday Mornings
Bring your friends and come early to enjoy something to eat in the Cafe(9:45am), followed by fun, videos, drama, great music and engaging talk. We are together for fellowship and worship, but then split into 6th-8th and 9th-12th for our teaching. This service begins in Ministry Center South, with Middle School moving to the Nxt-Gen Building part way through the service.
Middle School Small Groups 6:30pm Sunday Nights Games and small groups are a recipe to have a great time, build relationships and make faith in Jesus Christ your own. On Sunday nights you will learn how to follow Christ passionately, and grow towards maturity. Students will also make long lasting relationships that will help you through the middle school and high school journey. All Small Groups start in the Chapel Gym for announcements and games and then split into grade/gender specific Bible study groups in the Central Worship Center.
High School Small Groups 6:30pm Sunday Nights
Small Groups is high school students hanging out in a chill environment where they can address issues that they are facing. Small groups develop deep and lasting relationships with other students and adults that help students become mature young adults who live a life of meaning and purpose in Christ. These groups meet in the Nxt-Gen Building to start and then spread out over the Chapel campus for Bible study.
